Established in 1969, Cornucopia Tool & Plastics, Inc. has been a source of quality, custom molded plastics. Two additional divisions have been added to the company in an effort to offer a wider variety of standard and specialized products. Located in Paso Robles, Ca. since 1977, Cornucopia Tool & Plastics occupies a modern 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility supplying plastics for medical and dental items, electronic components, business machines, food processing equipment, house ware products, and much more. Cornucopia specializes in the processing of exotic engineering resins as well as all general purpose and commodity grades of thermoset and thermoplastic resins. Their special operations department is equipped to decorate plastic with the use of pad printing, hot-foil stamping, and silkscreen processes, allowing their customers to display their company logos or special art work. Although insert molding
is common at Cornucopia, the use of ultrasonic welding offers the ability to incorporate threaded inserts and other features into products when it may not be feasible during the molding process.
